Ford Credit’s College Graduate Program offers an introduction to automotive financing, and prepares you for advancement into the Dealer Services Analyst position. With an introductory one (1) year (six months each position) assignment in the Customer Service and Loss Prevention positions at Irving Business Center, TX you will spend time developing your automotive financing experience in a positive learning work environment. You will join a network of people that will help to move your career forward and will prepare you to compete for advancement opportunities at Ford Motor Credit Company.


Descriptors of the Introductory Customer Service Representative and Loss Prevention (Collections) Assignment:

Customer Service Representatives have the responsibility for taking inbound customer phone calls from Ford Credit customers, dealers, insurance companies, or other third parties while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Representatives will navigate multiple systems in order to resolve many and varied phone calls related to vehicle financing or leasing. The primary focus of a Customer Service Representative is first call resolution to ensure a positive customer experience.



Loss Prevention Representatives navigate through a variety of system applications while speaking with customers about vehicle financing or leasing. Representatives focus on minimizing portfolio risk and credit losses through effective calls, effective account management and appropriate account resolutions while remaining empathetic and emotionally resilient at all times when determining the best solution for the customer and Ford Credit.

Professional commitment is expected. You can expect to be on the phone 90% of the time (6-1/2 to 7 hours). Quality and quantity are equally important. Performance is closely tracked; employees receive regular performance feedback. Employees can also track personal performance. This position does require self-discipline and focus. Must work shift hours and some evening and weekend hours. Business conditions may mandate overtime. The holidays can be busy periods, so working during holiday weeks is expected (except on actual legal holidays)

After successfully completing these assignments, the next assignment will be as a Dealer Services Analyst in Colorado Springs, CO.

Descriptors of the Dealer Services Analyst (DSA) Role:



Analyze and make decisions on consumer credit applications
Adhere to purchase approval limits and investigation standards at all times
Sell the benefit of the Company's value proposition to the dealers and effectively maintain a consistent purchase policy based on dealer support, liquidation experience, and management direction
Understand and practice business unit financing plans, programs, and procedures
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with dealership personnel. Support internal and external sales as required to complement Business Center activities.
Support a culture which ensures sales mindset is maintained in the Business Center.
Perform daily responsibilities to ensure high levels of dealer and customer satisfaction.
Support Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) initiatives.
Support diversity initiatives by understanding, respecting and valuing the differences that define employees as unique individuals.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Management
3+ years of experience
Overall Grade point Average of 3.0 or higher
Candidate must be eligible to work permanently in the Unites States.
