Modeling and Simulation Engineer
Job description:
Modeling and Simulation Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI). Support research and development efforts to develop simulation systems for electrified and automated vehicle technologies ranging from HEV systems and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to semi- and fully-autonomous driving capabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering or a related field
- 3 years of experience developing and simulating software
- 3 years of experience scripting, debugging, and designing models using Matlab and Simulink
- 3 years of experience creating and executing test plans, test scripts and test automation
- 3 years of experience generating reports for automotive systems
- 3 years of experience conducting commercial powertrain simulations with SIL and HIL tools including and the use of calibration data acquisition systems
- 3 years of experience developing in C++
- Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently
