Hadoop Developer

Job description:

Hadoop Developer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI). Lead the design and development for Hadoop data feeds out of Hadoop and into the Ford MDM database utilizing Data Stage and Quality Stage integration tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in electronic engineering, computer science or a related field
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of application development experience
• 3 years of experience with Hadoop design and development
• 3 years of experience performing data analysis
• 3 years of experience using at least two of the following Hadoop tools: HDFS, Hive, Zeppelin, and Spark
• 3 years of experience using NoSQL databases
• 2 years of experience configuring, executing and monitoring data extraction and transfers using Sqoop or Attunity CDC data ingestion tools
• 2 years of experience programming using Java or Python
• 2 years of experience performing data lake design and implementation
• 2 years of experience using an ETL toolset to create and maintain data in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment
• 2 years of experience writing SQL queries in Oracle, SQL Server or DB2
• 2 years of Agile/Scrum process experience working in agile based delivery teams
• 1 year of experience implementing Big Data patterns for big data services
• 1 year of experience performing real-time analytics using Kafka & Storm
• 1 year of experience using UNIX or Linux systems and using command line tools and utilities
• 1 year of experience building data visualizations using Tableau and Qlikview
• 1 year of experience collaborating and gathering requirements from both technical and business-facing teams.
