Embedded Software Verification Process Engineer positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI).
Define corporate embedded software verification processes through the software life cycle. Enhance capability of suppliers to deliver embedded software meeting Ford quality standards. Research state of the art tools and processes for software verification process and create and apply software verification process metrics. Develop process for test plan creation including all necessary tools and scripts to execute and debug. Create and enhance test results reporting methods.
Minimum Requirements:
· Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in computer engineering or a related engineering field
· 2 years of experience developing software in Simulink
· 2 years of experience programming in C/C++
· 2 years of experience performing software testing using MIL and SIL virtual verification methods
· 2 years of experience developing software through all phases of the life cycle using Waterfall, Agile, or V models
· 2 years of experience creating software process
· 1 year of experience testing features that involve vehicle communication using Controller Area Network (CAN)
· 1 year of experience executing software testing for vehicle body electronics on hardware in the loop (HIL) systems focused on functional testing and fault insertion testing
· 1 year of experience managing software releases, issue tracking, and requirement traceability
· 1 year of experience integrating software in Autosar platform
· 1 year of experience calibrating and measuring ECU parameters
· 1 year of experience applying ISO26262 automotive standards in software development
· Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently
