Job Description/Overview:
The Infrastructure and Analytics Solution Deployment team within Ford’s Global Data, Insight and Analytics (GDI&A) organization is looking for an IT professional with software development experience. The candidate will be working with variety of data sources from flat files, RDBMS, and Hadoop HDFS data sources and must be familiar with Hadoop eco system. We build analytical workflows that utilize large set of data sources within Hadoop and external RDBMS data sources using analytical techniques and machine learning. The position also requires the deployment and promotion of analytical models to target environments (Cloud, Edge computing) and dashboard creation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business partner; IT and Analytics team to create Model development requirements
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Deployment team to develop wrappers and API around analytic models and scope POCs
- Help develop framework to promote analytics model from Dev to Prod environment
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science or applicable related technical field
- 4+ years of experience in core Java or other programming languages (such as C, C#, C++), and with programming in at least one scripting languages (such as JavaScript, Unix Shell programming)
- 2+ year experience in Spark and Python programming
- 3+ years of experience working with 1 of more of the following: Hive, SQL, relational databases (SQL Server, Teradata) or NoSQL
- 1+ years of experience in Spring Boot and Angular frame work or any other software development frame work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or PHD in related fields
- Experience with real time and near real time Analytics in Hadoop environment
- Experience with Hadoop environment, MapReduce programing, Oozie, Scala, and other Hadoop services
- Experience with text base search platform such as Solr or Elastic search
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated and self-driven with focus on analytical delivery
