Positions Description/Overview:
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team at the Lima, Ohio Engine Plant. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using MS Excel, for data analysis and reporting. This role also provides financial analytical support in developing plan budget, labor forecasting, and cost reporting.

The position will be located in Lima, Ohio.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analytical support to Lima Engine Plant; develop plant budget, monthly labor forecasts, and manage the daily and monthly Labor & Overhead cost reporting. The analyst will have a key role in enhancing the cost performance data provided internally in the plant, and data supporting the monthly cost forecasts.
  • Provide analytical support and develop studies for strategic decisions and efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage Plant Launch costs; develop budgets, forecasts, and drive actions to achieve budgets
  • Work with staff financial teams to ensure alignment on launch budgets, efficiency targets, and special studies. Provide analytical support and develop for studies and efficiency initiatives
  • Participate in the annual Modular Control Review Program (MCRP)

Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 1+ years of experience using Excel

Preferred Qualification
  • Preferred experience with Manufacturing or Product Development Finance
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, preferably with experience developing reports based on data from multiple sources (Microsoft Query experience helpful)
  • Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work well across multiple functions
  • Ability manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Quick learner
  • Self Starter
