Systems Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a product development engineer to develop vehicle electrical architecture. The candidate would be interfacing with product development engineers across the company. This position requires a motivated self-starter that is focused on delivering results. We are seeking an Engineer in our Dearborn, Michigan location.

Position Duties:

• Communicate Core Strategies to Vehicle Architecture Teams (e.g., Module Packaging Requirements, Commodity Business Plan, Cross Vehicle Module parts, etc.)
• Develop Shared Technology / Commonality Strategy
• Identify emerging New Technologies
• Identify and implement developed New Technologies, with consideration of the commodities affected.
• Provide directional costing support for attribute gap closure proposals
• Provide subsystem schematic updates for cost studies.
• Lead System Level Target Setting for Quality, Cost, Weight, Function and Timing (QCWFT)

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience automotive electrical engineering
• 1+ years of experience Systems Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read, understand and mark up electrical system schematics
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on-time and with quality
• Ability to interact and communicate with others
