Position Overview/Description:
We are looking for a product development engineer to develop electrical energy management solutions for our global products. You will work in a dynamic team environment, interfacing with product development engineers across the organization. This position requires a motivated self-starter that is focused on delivering results.
Responsibilities:
Develop electrical energy management solutions for ever-evolving feature/function set
Work with component and function owners to implement solutions
Perform competitive benchmarking to ensure solutions are fully competitive
Maintain relevant specifications and requirements
Develop new design verification methods focused on modelling and virtual test
Work with Research and Advanced engineering teams to ensure compatibility of next gen power supply solutions
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
1+ years of experience automotive electrical engineering
1+ years of experience with embedded systems design and systems engineering fundamentals
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred 2+ years experience using systems engineering approach to solve problems and create solutions
Demonstrated strong problem solving skills
Strong teamwork mindset
Strong written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with connected vehicle technology
Familiarity with in-vehicle network communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN)
