You will work in a dynamic team environment, interfacing with product development engineers across the organization. We are looking for a product development engineer to develop electrical energy management solutions for our global products. You will work in a dynamic team environment, interfacing with product development engineers across the organization. Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical energy management solutions for ever-evolving feature/function set
- Work with component and function owners to implement solutions
- Perform competitive benchmarking to ensure solutions are fully competitive
- Maintain relevant specifications and requirements
- Develop new design verification methods focused on modelling and virtual test
- Work with Research and Advanced engineering teams to ensure compatibility of next gen power supply solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- 1+ years of experience automotive electrical engineering
- 1+ years of experience with embedded systems design and systems engineering fundamentals
- Preferred 2+ years experience using systems engineering approach to solve problems and create solutions
- Demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork mindset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Familiarity with connected vehicle technology
- Familiarity with in-vehicle network communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN)
