As Senior Product Manager you will develop the product roadmaps and definition for Ford Smart Mobility (FSM) LLC’s Digital Services. You will develop the communication strategy for your portfolio as appropriate to brief all the relevant participants and stakeholders. You will work cross functionally to support the implementation of roadmap and feature definition of all relevant services. Responsibilities include:
Product Roadmap Development
Research and share business / technology trends
Initiates and translates product roadmap into manageable product features in the backlog
Understands business and user priorities, and technical feasibility in order to the prioritize product backlog and manage risks
Coordinates research/ stakeholder interviews
Product Definition
Owns and writes user stories based on the epics
Leads backlog grooming to decompose/estimate stories
Answers questions from developers, clarifies user stories, etc
Works with product designers on user experience and writes acceptance criteria
Analysis
Gathers customer and internal feedback to drive improvements and inform product roadmap prioritization and backlog
Defines analytics to be collected regarding product, and prioritizes the execution of their collection
Enable and Communicate
Understands the organizational development practices, platform requirements, and project management framework
Manages product dashboard and communications to internal teams
Encourage product owner and product development team to maintain continuous velocity stream while staying customer focused
Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years hands on Product Management experience
3+ years hands on experience in defining and delivering successful products for the Internet of Things and Digital Services market
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or History
7+ years hands on Product Management experience
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and to recommend and implement informed choices
Detail oriented - demonstrated capability and experience in project tracking, gathering, analyzing and tracking data
Outstanding organizational skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment and rapidly growing team
Ability to work across multiple tasks simultaneously
