Education is a top priority at Ford Motor Company Fund. From Ford Next Generation Learning to Ford Blue Oval Scholars and the Ford College Community Challenge Grant program, Ford invests millions of dollars in traditional classroom instruction and innovative real-life training to help young people succeed in the career of their choice.
"Ford Fund enriches lives through support of the arts, science and the study of our common heritage," said Jim Vella, president, Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services.
Some of the programs supported by Ford Motor Company Fund include:
“We are excited to be an educational resource for families, providing enriching science experiences for children through our Discover Math and Science program which has been made possible by the generous grant from Ford Motor Company Fund,” said Jane Turner, executive director, Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
Ford Motor Company Fund supports many other community educational activities including the King Holiday Weekend Celebration at the National Civil Rights Museum. Freedom's Sisters – the story of courageous African American women in the civil rights movement - and American Sabor – exploring how Latin musical styles influenced American popular music, also are sponsored by Ford through the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibition Service.
