A key component of Ford's efforts to enhance education is to take learning from school into the community to open up new learning opportunities for children and families. Ford Fund sponsors a wide range of free activities at museums and zoos, and traveling exhibitions that celebrate the diversity of our culture and important historical experiences.

"Ford Fund enriches lives through support of the arts, science and the study of our common heritage," said Jim Vella, president, Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services.

Some of the programs supported by Ford Motor Company Fund include:

  • Ford Innovation and Technology Month at the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, AZ
  • Green Skills for Life scholarship competition, San Diego Air & Space Museum
  • Ford Free Sundays at Detroit Institute of Arts
  • Ford's Ghouls at Grassmere, Nashville Zoo
