Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor (CVPI) has become the most prominent police vehicle in the United States because of its features and its overall performance and safety record. Today, over 80 percent of the police cars in North America are CVPIs.

CVPI is a safe, effective and reliable vehicle for police duty. But we are always looking for opportunities to improve Crown Victoria's performance, even in the most unusual circumstances. We are dedicated to making a safe police car even safer for high-risk police work.

In cooperation with the national law enforcement community, we have initiated a Police Officer Safety Action Plan to protect officers in the line of duty while on patrol in their CVPIs.
