THE VIDEOS ARE IN: FIESTA AGENTS TACKLE TECHNOLOGY FOR JUNE MISSIONS

DEARBORN, Mich., July 15, 2009 – The videos have been streaming in, and Ford Fiesta Movement agents are making a big impression. The videos are funny, unique and above all, entertaining.

The videos have generated huge numbers of online views through the first quarter of the Fiesta Movement – with more than 2.2 million YouTube views, more than 312,000 Flickr views and more than 2 million Twitter impressions, resulting in more than 13.4 million impressions.

The Fiesta Movement is a platform designed to generate excitement about the highly anticipated Ford Fiesta, the new fuel-efficient small car with style and substance that is coming to the United States next year. As part of a social media initiative, 100 young trendsetters are driving a Fiesta for seven months, traveling as “agents” on special missions. They then relate their experiences through a variety of social media sites.

Here’s the “greatest hits” of Fiesta Movement videos through the first quarter:

  • Need to “pimp” a Fiesta? In this infomercial, agent Patrick Latimer shows off how you can do just that, with a foam hood scoop, custom-made dorsal fin and politically correct mud flaps. He even finds a way to politely wave at traffic as he zooms off in his Fiesta.
