Award winning Ford Flex is finalist for 2008 North American Car of the Year
With its distinctive design and host of class-leading technologies, the all-new 2009 Ford Flex has been earning acclaim from consumers and critics alike. The Flex is successfully attracting new customers to Ford, half of which are completely new to the Ford brand. And in its short time in the marketplace, the vehicle has received an array of awards – from being named “Ultimate Road Trip Car” by Maxim Magazine to being voted “Overall CUV of the Year” by the Texas Auto Writers Association. Last week, Flex was named a finalist for the 2008 North American Car of the Year. Ford’s Warriors in Pink raised more than $1.8 million for breast cancer research
This year, Ford’s Warriors in Pink campaign – which includes sales of Warriors in Pink apparel, sales of the 2009 Limited Edition Mustang with Warriors in Pink package and affiliate contributions – generated more than $1.8 million in donations to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, nearly tripling last year’s efforts. “By honoring the determination of those fighting the disease and donating to the cause, Ford continues to support Komen for the cure as we all work together to end breast cancer,” said Connie Fontaine, manager, Ford Brand Content and Alliances. In addition to the Warriors in Pink initiative, Ford is a national series sponsor of the Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the Cure.  more...

Ford’s 2010 Mustang available for children ages 3 and up
On the heels of the Los Angeles Auto Show debut of Ford’s newest Mustang, Mattel has launched the Hot Wheels® version of America’s iconic muscle car. The 2010 Hot Wheels Mustang is 1/64 the size of the original. It weighs less than a pound and is just short of three inches long, compared to the full-size car, which tips the scale at approximately 3,500 pounds and measures more than 15 feet in length.
