CARL EDWARDS FINISHES FOURTH AT PHOENIXCarl Edwards (No. 99 Ford Fusion) overcame pit-stop problems and a penalty to finish fourth in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Speedway Saturday night. His Roush Fenway teammate Greg Biffle (No. 16 Ford Fusion) finished ninth. Jimmie Johnson was one of the few drivers who did not have to pit for fuel in the closing laps and he held on for his first victory of the year. |

CARL EDWARDS FINISHES SECOND IN NATIONWIDE RACE AT PHOENIXCarl Edwards, driver of the No. 60 World Financial Ford Fusion, went into the pits with the lead but came out in second place on lap 178 and finished in second place, two-tenths of a second behind winner Kyle Busch, in the Nationwide Series race at Phoenix Friday night. Edwards’ Roush Fenway Racing teammate David Ragan (No. 6 Discount Tire Ford Fusion) finished fifth. |
